Federal Work Study- Undergraduate

The Federal Work-Study Program is a need-based financial aid program that offers part-time employment to university students. Work study is not deducted from the student's bill.

Students in the Federal Work-Study Program are employed by the University. Students are paid bi-weekly for the hours worked during the preceding pay period. Federal Work-Study is not deducted from the student’s tuition invoice. Employment under the Federal Work-Study Program is awarded as part of your financial aid package. As part of the Federal Work Study application process, a Student Employment Application Form must be completed in Banner Web. This form will be used to match  you with an appropriate position. 

If you do secure a position, you will need to complete the following forms. These forms only need to be submitted once. You will also need to sign additional paperwork with your supervisor. Prior to the start of classes, you will receive further detailed instructions to your University email from the Financial Aid Office.

Federal Work Study-Summer

Summer Work Study and summer employment is available to a limited number of Jefferson- East Falls Campus students.  Most jobs are on campus, with a limited number of jobs available in off-campus settings. 

Students who work full time hours during the summer may be considered for free on-campus housing.  Students must complete a Summer Student Employment Application to be considered for on-campus summer employment. The application is available on Banner Web.
