Dr. Wilkinson completed his graduate degree at Temple University, School of Medicine, in August, 2000.  His postdoctoral work was at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and completed in August, 2006. His current research interests include:

1. Genetic control of animal development and implication for cancer

2. Mechanism of action of health promoting phytochemicals (curcumin, polyphenols, flavonoids)

His teaching is at all levels (first year, upper level, graduate) and includes Biology I and II, Genetics, Molecular Genetics, and Biochemistry I and II. Course coordination for Biology I and II labs, Microbiology lab and Genetics lab.
