Jesse earned a BS in Biology from Penn State University in 1985, a BS in Medical Science and a certificate in Physician Assistant Studies from Hahnemann University in 1987, an MDiv from Palmer Theological Seminary in 2010 and a DMin from Palmer Theological Seminary in 2014. His doctoral project focused on working with groups to identify personal and corporate identities/biases that preclude diversity within the church.  He has continued to maintain an outpatient primary care/internal medicine practice in the Delco area since 1988.  Joining the PhilaU PA Program in 2006, Jesse has served as a didactic faculty member, the didactic coordinator, associate program director and now as the program director since 2013.   Jesse teaches medical ethics, history and physical diagnosis, ECG recognition, and multiple endocrine and cardiovascular topics.
