Dr. Silver received her BA (Hons) from Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds, England and an MA in Health Care Ethics from the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. In December 2000, she received a PhD in Health Care Ethics, also from the University of Manchester.

For 6 years she worked as Director of Patient Rights and Ethics at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, New Jersey. She has had a consulting practice for 26 years and has worked widely in the field of clinical, organizational ethics and non-clinical ethics in acute care, rehabilitation and developmental disability. She currently serves on Ethics Committees at a rehabilitation hospital and the Research Ethics Committee at The Richard Stockton College of NJ. She has also a consulted to the British Health Care system.

Biographical Summary:
Dr. Wilson Silver has taught as an adjunct at The Richard Stockton College of NJ and is currently an adjunct, teaching a course in Ethics and Professionalism in the Physician Assistant Program at Philadelphia University. Her academic interests include decision making in critical care and patient rights issues.She lives in southern New Jersey with her husband, and her son.

In addition to her Ethics practice, Dr. Silver runs a cookery school from her home and enjoys traveling with her family at any opportunity.
