Social Learning

With social media growing rapidly, it is helpful to understand social media services are available and how they can be introduced into the classroom.

Blogging

Blogs allow users to post content that they find interesting, relevant and allows them to comment on the material. This is helpful for many reasons. One is building a reputation. Many people in the arts want to continually show they are up on the latest and greatest. They are also looking for an outlet to show their work in a public place. Blogging allows users all of the freedom to post from many devices without the hassle of knowing how to design a website.

Webspace

At Philadelphia University every student, staff, and faculty member has web space dedicated to them to upload custom content. This allows users to design their own page and upload at their leisure. This is the most complicated, but often the most professional looking way of putting content out publicly on the Internet.
