Textile and Costume Collection

The Textile and Costume Collection at Jefferson University- East Falls highlights the history of regional and global textile design. With holdings ranging from Coptic textiles of the 1st to 9th centuries to 20th century haute couture, the Collection provides a wealth of creative inspiration and educational opportunities for students, scholars, and industry professionals.

The collection is housed in the Goldie Paley House, a 1955 “modern-rancher-style” residence, designed by Earle Bolton, Jr. Called The Design Center at Jefferson- East Falls, the building is owned and operated by the University.
