Qualifications:
Three-plus years of experience in grounds work. High school diploma. A valid Driver's license and the ability to be insurable under the University's insurance policy are required. Mechanical skills for maintenance of grounds-related equipment.

Education Required:
High school diploma. Grounds-related certificates desired.

Responsibilities:
•    Must understand how to maintain and set up athletic fields.
•    Must understand chemical applications to turf and surfaces.
•    Must be able to operate and maintain a full portfolio of grounds-related equipment, including mowers, Bobcats, snow blowers, sweepers, backhoe, lining equipment, snow plows, high reach, carts, etc.
•    General grounds maintenance of all surfaces and appendages.
•    Must be able to work with and guide student workers.
•    Must have an active driver’s license and be insurable.
•    Criminal background check is required.
•    Other duties as assigned.
