Title of Position:
Clinical Education Coordinator Master of Athletic Training Program

Part-time, temporary

College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts

•    Minimum of three years’ experience as a licensed, practicing Athletic Trainer is required.
•    2-3 years teaching at the college-level is required.  
•    Experience as a coordinator of clinical education and/or preceptor for a CAATE-accredited program is preferred.
•    Must be certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification.  
•    Must be licensed or be eligible for and secure a license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as a condition of employment.
•    Knowledge and experience with CAATE accreditation standards and requirements is preferred.

Education Required:
An earned doctoral degree in athletic training or related field, such as kinesiology, exercise science, movement science, etc. from an accredited institution is preferred.  Applicants who are ABD or who have an MS will be considered for the part-time, temporary position.

Assists the program director in all aspects of overseeing students’ clinical progression; locates and evaluates clinical sites, ensuring that all proper paperwork is on file for clinical affiliation; ensures that students have all proper documentation to participate in clinical experiences; evaluates students; and trains and evaluates clinical preceptors.  Local business travel is required.
