Academic Administrative Assistant, College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts

Qualifications:
Jefferson University – East Falls Campus is accepting applications for the Administrative Assistant in the College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts. Candidates must have experience and a high proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); excellent written and oral communication skills; the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; the ability to ask clarifying questions; and perform work in a detail-oriented environment. Student-centered customer service is a must. Experience working within a learning management system is a plus. 1-3 years of administrative assistant experience required; higher education experience preferred.

Education Required:
Candidates should have a high school diploma with 3 or more years of administrative assistant experience in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities:
In addition to assisting the deans, faculty and current students, the administrative assistant serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students, outside organizations and internal administrative departments.
