Fashionista Names Philadelphia University Fashion Programs in Top 50 Worldwide Philadelphia University’s fashion programs were ranked in Fashionista’s international list of the top 50 fashion programs. To develop this list, Fashionista spoke with university officials, companies who hire graduates and industry professionals, as well as considering factors such as cost and academic programming. In keeping with the tradition of winning awards, Philadelphia University’s fashion design students wowed a packed crowd at the Annual Fashion Show on April 27 at the Academy of Music. The Show, which features the best of this year’s student designs, is a collaboration among students in fashion design, fashion merchandising and management, and interior design. Shown above is one of the evening’s top winners, Sarah Fitzgerald’s “borrowed baroque” collection, which won the FIA Awards for Best Senior Collection and Best of Show.
