Alumna Showcases New Collection at Macy’s Center City Philadelphia University alumna Kaitlyn Doherty ’11 showed off a bold new collection of fashion apparel and accessories in a one-night-only fashion show at Macy’s Center City. Doherty, a 2012 designer-in-residence at The Philadelphia Fashion Incubator at Macy’s, displayed her collection along with four other designers in the program The Fashion Incubator is a year-long fellowship that gives young designers the opportunity to produce sample collections and gain valuable retail experience. Alumnae Melissa Choi ’06 and Pia Panaligan ’06 were selected to participate as 2013 designers-in-residence at the Fashion Incubator.
