You’ve got to be true to yourself.” - Carson Kressley Carson Kressley and Bob Nydick ’78 Inspire Graduates to Make Their Mark Emmy Award-winning fashion celebrity Carson Kressley inspired undergraduate students at Philadelphia University’s 129th Commencement on Saturday, May 11 with a heartfelt speech that challenged students to be true to themselves and pursue their passions. At the ceremony, Kressley was awarded the honorary degree Doctor of Humane Letters. Earlier that day, Robert Nydick ‘78 gave the Graduate Commencement address and was awarded the honorary degree Doctor of Humane Letters. Nydick, professor of management and operations at Villanova University and a Philadelphia University trustee, gave an inspirational speech drawing on his many years of experience motivating students and teaching them how to make sound business decisions.
