Home of Sidney Kimmel Medical College

We are looking forward to your arrival. The purpose of this website is to provide you with important information about the NSO program for new students, which will run from mid-June until late August.

All new students, including freshmen, transfer and international students are required to participate in this program.

During NSO, you will take part in a number of activities with other entering students. You will be meeting with Academic Advisors and receive your class schedule. This website provides you with a preview of the program; however, you will receive a more complete, updated schedule of events during NSO check-in.

In order to confirm your place in the NSO program and provide an accurate count for meals, please complete the online response form as early as possible.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (215) 951-2634. I look forward to meeting you and I welcome you to the Philadelphia University community.

  • Special note for resident students: If you will be a residential student, please consult your housing assignment letter for your residence hall assignment. Meals will be available throughout the NSO Program. Your Resident Assistant will let you know the time and location of your first hall meeting. If you have questions regarding on-campus housing or move-in, please refer to the housing assignment letter mailed to you from the Office of Residence Life or call (215) 951-2741

  • Special note for international students: International students will be receiving more detailed information from Ms. Hannah Bar-Giora, Director of International Student Programs.
